Cryptek Appoints Experienced Federal Markets and Networking Executive Gary Hobbs as Chief Operating Officer
Company strengthens executive team to execute plan to grow in existing markets and expand into new markets for information and network security products.

Mr. Hobbs will lead the company's global teams for sales, professional services, engineering and manufacturing and will be responsible for developing and executing growth initiatives in these areas.

Mr. Hobbs joins Cryptek from Unisys Corporation where he served as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Federal Systems. Previously, as President of Asia Pacific holdings of PSInet, he directed all operations in the Asia Pacific region including operations in seven countries with revenues of more than $150 million.
Mr. Hobbs brings a broad range of experience in commercial and federal sales, business development, sales and operations to Cryptek. He has distinguished himself as an executive who can consistently exceed bookings and revenue objectives while driving profit growth. In addition to Unisys and PSInet, Mr. Hobbs has held executive roles with DynCorp and Computer Sciences Corporation.
